I would like to know when it becomes okay for a baby/child to become injured due to a parent's negligence??? Shame on you for saying such things: "serves the kid right for ruining the show"

It becomes OKAY for a baby to become injured when they're being neglected. The injury is the "attention getter" that the parent needed so that it doesnt happen again. Havent you ever heard of CONSEQUENCES for your actions?...or in this case, the parents' NON ACTIONS? I will agree that the baby didnt deserve it, but someone HAS to get hurt for people to PAY ATTENTION TO THIER BABIES!The baby is exactly THAT, a baby. They dont know where its safe to walk. Its not the baby's fault. It was the parents' fault. And the pain that baby received is the parents "wake up" call to watch their baby ALL THE TIME. I'd tell that "parent" to grow up and hold on to their BABIES.
Good lesson for the baby too...I bet he or she is gonna watch where they're going next time.
I hope that kid is OKAY and I hope the parents were arrested for neglect.
That kid, is BACK...on the ESCALATOR AGAIN!
